Job Summary
PRN Nurse Practitioner in Neonatology (Department of Pediatrics) provides patient medical care by assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care with a physician, and collaborates with teams to ensure high-quality neonatal care. Responsibilities include completing health assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostics, formulating comprehensive patient care plans including education and therapies, documenting assessments and plans, mentoring newer nurse practitioners, and serving on committees or projects to improve patient care. Requires Master's degree in Nursing, Mississippi APRN license, and national certification relevant to neonatology; duties emphasize clinical care, leadership, and collaboration within a pediatric/neonatal specialty. Time type: Part-time. Location: Jackson, MS Main Campus.
