Job Summary
PRN Nurse Practitioner contract role providing independent clinical services to U.S. military service members under the Reserve Health Readiness Program. Responsibilities include supporting Physical Health Assessments, reviewing health histories and medical records, interviewing service members to identify current concerns (including behavioral health), determining immediacy of issues, and documenting results for readiness in the service member’s medical record using the proprietary system. Experience in primary care, urgent care, or occupational health and familiarity with military systems and terminology are preferred. Requires ability to work weekends (with occasional weekdays), travel to various locations including remote military installations, adaptability to fast-paced environments, and collaboration with a supervising physician as required by state requirements. Not required to diagnose, treat, or prescribe medications. Background check and drug screening are part of the process; E-Verify is used in hiring. Equal employment opportunity statements apply.
