Job Summary
Marathon Health is seeking PRN Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant providers to join our Baltimore Metro area teams, delivering relationship-based, wholistic primary care with a focus on prevention, chronic disease management, and health education. You’ll work autonomously within a supportive system, leveraging resources like UpToDate and RubiconMD to enhance patient care. The role emphasizes patient-first care, with flexible, part-time scheduling and a mix of in-person clinical duties across MD sites (Hanover, Nottingham, Edgemere). Minimum requirements include an active license and board certification (ANCC/AANP for NP or NCCPA for PA), CPR/BLS, and independent family practice experience; DEA numbers are preferred for prescribing eligibility. The position supports virtual care where applicable and aligns with Marathon Health’s value-driven, patient-centered model.
Required Qualifications
- Active license & current ANCC or AANP board certification for Nurse Practitioner;
- Independent practice experience preferred per state regulation;
- Federal DEA number preferred; may be required for full prescribing ability;
- CPR/BLS certification at start date;
- Independent family practice experience including routine wellness care, chronic care management, and urgent visit, preferred
- For Physician Assistant: Active license & current NCCPA board certification; Independent practice provider preferred; Federal DEA number preferred; CPR/BLS certification; independent family practice experience including routine wellness care, chronic care management, and urgent visit, preferred
- Full Practice Authority strongly preferred where applicable per State guidelines
