PRN MRI Technologist

Job Summary
Perform high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. Prepare patients for procedures, including IV administration when appropriate, while demonstrating strong knowledge of MRI safety, anatomy, and imaging techniques. Collaborate with radiologists and clinical team members to deliver exceptional service and maintain accurate documentation compliant with all regulatory standards. Assist with lifting, transferring, and positioning patients safely, and help patients on and off the MRI table as needed. Work flexible PRN center hours Monday-Friday 7am-10pm and Saturday 8am-5pm at American Health Imaging's Augusta outpatient center. Requires ARRT registration with advanced MRI certification and current CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT registered with advanced certification in MRI (ARRT-MR)
- Current CPR certification
- IV certification/skills
- Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI imaging principles
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
