Job Summary
MedSurg RNs provide bedside care for a variety of patients and execute individualized patient assessments to create an individualized plan of care. MedSurg RNs prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications, initiate actions when adverse symptoms are displayed, and assist physicians during examination and treatment. Additional duties include changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs. Shift is AM, 7a-7p.
