Job Summary
Medical Assistant to support the primary care team at Marathon Health in Plymouth, WI, serving as a clinical and front-desk liaison. Responsibilities include taking vitals, blood draws, injections, immunizations, preparing medications, assisting with procedures, ensuring exam rooms are stocked, handling front desk duties (scheduling, medical records, referrals), coordinating care outside the clinic, processing results, and performing outreach to engage patients. Must have MA program completion, MA certification/registration where required, and CPR/BLS; phlebotomy experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant
- Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program
- National or state-specific MA certification or registration is strongly preferred
- MA certification or registration is required for employment in States where certification/registration is required
- CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date
- Phlebotomy experience is preferred
