Job Summary
PRN Medical Assistant to support a primary care team at Marathon Health in Brookfield, WI. Responsibilities include patient vitals, blood draws, injections and immunizations, assisting with procedures, front desk duties (scheduling, medical record requests, data entry, referrals), and coordinating care with the provider and care team. The role involves handling documentation per guidelines, communicating test results, and engaging with eligible patient groups. Requires graduation from a Medical Assistant program or related program, MA certification or registration (strongly preferred), CPR/BLS certification at start, and phlebotomy experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant
- Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or other related program
- National or state-specific MA certification or registration is strongly preferred
- MA certification or registration is required for employment in States where certification/registration is required
- CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date
- Phlebotomy experience is preferred
