Job Summary
Escort patients to exam rooms, ensuring thorough cleaning and stocking of supplies. Review medical information, gather updated health data, and take vitals while performing blood draws, injections, wound care, and administering medications per provider orders. Coordinate lab tests, process results, and deliver timely updates to patients. Manage front desk operations including scheduling, check-in/out, medical record requests, and documentation. Develop individual patient care plans and maintain clinical supplies. Requires 1+ year of MA experience, MA certification, and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant
- Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or other related program
- MA certification or registration
- CPR/BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- National or state-specific MA certification or registration (for states where it is not required)
- Phlebotomy experience
- Experience in Primary Care
