Job Summary
Escort patients to exam rooms, ensure thorough cleaning and stocking, and review medical information to inform the provider. Take vitals, perform blood draws, administer medications and immunizations, and prepare for additional tests with contracted labs. Handle front desk duties including patient scheduling, medical record abstraction, check-in/out, and coordinate specialist visits. Record accurate data, process test results, and participate in patient outreach to drive engagement. Maintain clinical supplies and equipment while developing individual patient care plans with the team. Requires minimum one year of experience, MA certification or registration, and CPR/BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant
- Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or other related program
- MA certification or registration
- CPR/BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- National or state-specific MA certification or registration is strongly preferred
- Phlebotomy experience
- Primary Care experience
