Job Summary
Medical Assistant role supporting a primary care physician and care team, serving as both Medical Receptionist and clinically active MA. Responsibilities include taking vitals, performing blood draws, injections, and immunizations, administering approved medications, coordinating tests with contracted labs, managing medical records, scheduling and referrals, front-desk duties, and patient outreach to drive engagement. Requires MA program completion or equivalent, relevant certification/registration, and CPR/BLS certification; 1+ year of MA experience preferred in primary care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or other related program
- National or state-specific MA certification or registration is strongly preferred
- MA certification or registration is required for employment in States where certification/registration is required
- CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date
- Phlebotomy experience is preferred
