Job Summary
PRN-Medical Assistant sought to provide health readiness services to support deployable military personnel across US Army Reserve, National Guard, and other reserves. Responsibilities include phlebotomy/blood draws, immunizations, EKGs, manual vitals and vision, with weekend (and occasional weekday) in West Virginia travel and mobile/clinic deployment. Must be a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or equivalent training, with phlebotomy and CPR/BLS certifications preferred, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience with military or mobile medical services is preferred. Strong computer skills and weekend availability are required. Required Qualifications
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Equivalent Training from Accredited Medical Assisting Training
- Phlebotomy Certification - preferred
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum One (1) year of experience - preferred
- Passionate, friendly, and caring individual
- Utilize universal precautions for patient care
- Experience working with military - preferred
- Experience working with mobile medical services - preferred
- Proficient with computer programs
- Must have weekend availability
