Job Summary
Escort patients to exam rooms, ensure thorough cleaning and stocking, and review medical information to inform the provider. Take vitals, perform blood draws, administer medications and immunizations, and assist with procedures under provider direction. Handle front desk duties including patient scheduling, check-in/out, medical record abstraction, and coordinating specialist referrals. Process test results and deliver timely updates to patients via e-message, mail, or phone. Maintain clinical supplies and equipment while partnering with the care team to develop individual patient plans of care. Minimum of one year of Medical Assistant experience required with CPR/BLS certification at start; phlebotomy experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant
- Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or other related program
- National or state-specific MA certification or registration
- CPR/BLS certification
