PRN Mammography Tech - Radiology

Job Summary
Perform quality mammography procedures and assist Radiologist in special procedures for the purpose and early detection of breast abnormalities. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to provide imaging services including ultrasound, CT, PET, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. Maintain MQSA guidelines, ensure patient safety with BLS, and pursue ARRT (M) licensure within one year of orientation if starting with ARRT (R). Focus on clear communication, accountability, continuous improvement of patient experience, and professional growth in a team-oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists 71; certification - ARRT (M)
- Texas Department of State Health certification
- Work Experience: 1 year preferred
- Or ARRT (R); employee will be required to obtain ARRT (M) license within 1 year of completing orientation
