Job Summary
Perform quality mammography procedures and assist radiologists in special procedures for early detection of breast abnormalities. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide imaging services including ultrasound, CT scan, PET scan, interventional radiology, and nuclear medicine. Maintain clear communication, build relationships to promote a collaborative environment, and take initiative for professional growth while improving the patient experience. Methodist Mansfield Medical Center is a Magnet-designated, 262-bed acute care hospital serving North Texas, certified as an Advanced Primary Stroke and Heart Attack Center.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
- meets the MQSA guidelines
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification — ARRT (M)
- Texas Department of State Health certification
- 1 year Work Experience
- ARRT (R)
- obtain ARRT (M) license within 1 year of completing orientation
