Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures to assist in the detection and diagnosis of breast diseases. Ensure high-quality imaging through proper positioning, technique, and compression while adhering to safety protocols, radiation protection standards, and infection control guidelines. Review physician orders and patient history to verify procedures, educate patients on breast health and procedure expectations, and assist radiologists with specialized procedures including fine needle aspiration and biopsies. Maintain accurate documentation, manage mammography inventory and supplies, and perform routine quality control testing per ACR and FDA/MQSA requirements. Maintain regular and reliable attendance while complying with all policies and state, federal, and regulatory standards.
