Job Summary
Experienced Medical Assistant to support a primary care team at Marathon Health, functioning as both Medical Receptionist and clinical MA. Responsibilities include escorting patients, taking vitals, performing blood draws, administering injections and immunizations, assisting with procedures, coordinating labs, preparing medications, maintaining patient records, coordinating referrals and specialist visits, front-desk duties such as scheduling and documentation, and outreach to engage eligible patient groups. Requires completion of a MA program and MA certification/registration (where required), CPR/BLS, and at least 1 year of MA experience in a primary care setting. Location-specific duties span three Indiana sites (Muncie, Anderson, Greenfield) with part-time, in-person shifts and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or other related program
- National or state-specific MA certification or registration strongly preferred
- MA certification or registration required for employment in states where required
- CPR/BLS certification required at start date
- Phlebotomy experience preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care
