Job Summary
Assess, intervene, and evaluate patients while managing complex equipment including ventilators, chest tubes, and central lines. Collaborate with the healthcare team to formulate care plans ensuring continuity, and supervise clinical support staff. Dispense medications and critical care IV drips as part of the daily assessment and intervention process. Monitor patient status closely to ensure optimum outcomes. This 3x12 day shift role is within our Long Term Acute Care unit, providing specialized support for critically ill patients.
Required Qualifications
- Long Term Acute Care RNs (LTAC RNs)
- Dispensing medications
- Dispensing chest tubes
- Dispensing ventilators
- Dispensing wound vacs
- Dispensing critical care IV Drips
- Dispensing feeding tubes
- Dispensing central lines
- Monitoring, implementing and evaluating the status of the patient
- Giving guidance and supervision to clinical support staff
- Shift: 3x12 Days
