Job Summary
Long Term Acute Care RN provides patient care during assessment, intervention, and evaluation; collaborates with the healthcare team to formulate a care plan for optimum outcomes. Responsibilities include dispensing medications and managing chest tubes, ventilators, wound VACs, critical care IV drips, feeding tubes, and central lines; monitor and evaluate patient status; provide guidance and supervision to clinical support staff. Shift option available is 3x12 days, located in Corryton, TN (Knoxville area).
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in Tennessee
- LTAC RN experience preferred (implied by role)
- Ability to dispense medications and manage critical care equipment (chest tubes, ventilators, wound VACs, IV drips, feeding tubes, central lines)
- Strong patient assessment and care-plan skills
- Ability to supervise clinical support staff
