Job Summary
Conduct patient assessment, intervention, and evaluation while dispensing medications, managing chest tubes, ventilators, wound vacs, critical care IV drips, feeding tubes, and central lines. Collaborate with the healthcare team to formulate care plans ensuring optimum outcomes and continuity. Monitor, implement, and evaluate patient status, while providing guidance and supervision to clinical support staff. Work a 3x12-day shift schedule in Long Term Acute Care.
Required Qualifications
- Long Term Acute Care RNs (LTAC RNs)
- Dispensing medications
- Dispensing chest tubes
- Dispensing ventilators
- Dispensing wound vacs
- Dispensing critical care IV Drips
- Dispensing feeding tubes
- Dispensing central lines
- Monitoring, implementing and evaluating the status of the patient
- Giving guidance and supervision to clinical support staff
