Job Summary
LTAC RNs provide quality patient care through assessment, intervention, and evaluation, collaborating with the healthcare team to formulate a care plan. Responsibilities include dispensing medications and managing critical-care equipment (chest tubes, ventilators, wound VACs, IV drips, feeding tubes, and central lines), monitoring and evaluating patient status, and giving supervision to clinical support staff. Shift is 3x12 Nights, with care delivered in a long-term acute-care setting.
