Job Summary
LTAC RNs provide quality patient care through assessment, intervention, and evaluation; collaborate with the healthcare team to formulate care plans for optimum outcomes. Responsibilities include dispensing medications, managing chest tubes, ventilators, wound VACs, critical care IV drips, feeding tubes, and central lines; monitor and evaluate patient status; provide supervision to clinical support staff. Shift is 3x12 Nights. Location is Portage Des Sioux, MO.
Required Qualifications
- RN license in good standing
- BLS/ACLS preferred or required per facility policy
- experience with LTAC or critical care setting preferred
- ventilators and chest tube management
- central line care and IV therapy
- medication administration and monitoring
- wound VAC management
- care planning and patient assessment
- supervision of clinical support staff
- shift work including nights (3x12)
