Job Summary
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, while monitoring patient health by assessing vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition. Collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and their families about health care needs, conditions, and treatments, and maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records. Respond to patient inquiries with professionalism and ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and company policies. Participate in ongoing training to enhance nursing skills. This part-time role offers new rates of $45/HR plus travel increase for drives over an hour, with a requirement for a current Tennessee LPN license and one year of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program
- Current and valid LPN license in the state of Tennessee
- Minimum of one year of experience working as an LPN
- Experience in providing patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medication
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a home care environment
- Proficient in using electronic medical records and other healthcare software
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
- Strong commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and dignity
