Job Summary
Provide patient care under RN supervision using the nursing process while maintaining professional accountability and patient confidentiality. Coordinate care across departments and ensure strict adherence to state regulatory board standards for medication and treatment. Obtain and maintain a current LPN license, completing required certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or BLS within specified timeframes. Perform duties involving lifting up to 50 lbs, prolonged standing, and repetitive physical movements including bending and squatting. Work as part of a collaborative team supporting healthcare innovation and compassion.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license within the hiring state
- Meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to stand and walk during each shift
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
Desired Qualifications
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
- S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support) Six Assessment & Care Modules
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- LPN-IV Certification (must be previously completed or successful completion of course within 3 months of hire for LPNs in Missouri)
- Other unit-specific certifications as required
