Job Summary
Assess patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions in Health Care Units and housing units under RN supervision to contribute to individualized treatment planning. Implement treatment programs directed by Health Care Practitioners by administering medications, including IV therapy if certified, and performing diagnostic tests per established protocols. Collaborate in controlled substance counts, respond to codes or health emergencies, assist in medical or minor surgical procedures, and document nursing encounters using SOAP charting. Attend mandatory staff meetings and training sessions to maintain adherence to policies and procedures. Requires current LPN licensure, CPR certification, and minimum one year of clinic experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment
- Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification
- Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience
