Job Summary
Assess patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions in Health Care Units and housing units to contribute to individualized treatment planning. Implement treatment programs directed by Health Care Practitioners, administering medications including IV therapy (if certified), and performing diagnostic tests per established protocols. Collaborate in controlled substance counts, respond to codes or health emergencies, assist in medical or minor surgical procedures, and document nursing encounters using SOAP charting. Work under RN supervision to provide direction in patient education and activities while attending mandatory staff meetings and training sessions. Nights availability required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment
- Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification
- Nights availability required
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience
