Job Summary
Provide holistic nursing care to patients in a correctional setting, assisting providers with examinations, treatments, and routine procedures. Obtain patient health history, laboratory specimens, and vital signs, then conduct lab tests to ensure results reach the correct physician. Review patient charts to report observed symptoms, reactions, and condition changes, while coordinating transfers to medical facilities. Administer medications, implement healthcare practitioner orders, and document all patient contacts using the POMR format. Maintain current state LPN licensure and CPR certification, passing pre-employment Level 2 clearance including background checks and drug screens. Required Qualifications
- Current/Active state license as an LPN
