PRN Licensed Dental Hygienist

Job Summary
Provide comprehensive oral hygiene care, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing, while educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care. Assess and document patient conditions, collaborate with the dental team for optimal treatment plans, and administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as permitted by state regulations. Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental and other dental software, strictly adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining a clean, safe working environment. Travel as needed to support community sites, which may include driving a company vehicle or personal transportation when necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of dental hygiene
- Active Minnesota Dental Hygienist License
- Current CPR (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Local anesthesia and nitrous oxide certification
- Effective oral and written communication skills in English
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Ability to work under a signed Collaborative Agreement following state and company regulations
Desired Qualifications
- 2-4 years of clinical experience
- Spanish proficiency
- Proficiency in Open Dental software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Willingness to learn Open Dental software, Microsoft Office, and other necessary systems
