Job Summary
Conduct general and psychiatric nursing care for hospitalized patients with emotional disorders, performing suicide assessments and incorporating individual needs into comprehensive care plans. Accurately document physician orders, patient data regarding physical and psychosocial requirements, and signs of alcohol or drug toxicity. Respond to inquiries from patients and significant others while maintaining knowledge of EMTALA, COBRA, and abuse reporting guidelines. Requires current Nevada RN license, CPR certification, and ADN/BSN. Full benefits including medical, dental, 401(k), and generous PTO begin after one month of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Current Nevada RN License
- Ability to perform suicide assessments
- Understanding of suicide precautions
- Accurate and legible documentation
- Knowledge of legal guidelines pertaining to EMTALA/COBRA
- Knowledge of abuse/neglect reporting
