Job Summary
Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, manage medication and treatment plans for adult behavioral health patients, and complete accurate clinical documentation. Supervise and collaborate with Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners while working closely with therapists, nursing staff, and case managers. Participate in shared call coverage and assist in developing advanced practice providers within a collaborative, physician-led practice environment. This role offers a balanced clinical schedule with strong administrative support and opportunities for program development and leadership initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Active Georgia medical license or ability to obtain one
- DEA registration or eligibility
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care
