Job Summary
PRN Inpatient Pharmacy Technician provides support to the Health System Pharmacy team within a hospital setting, assisting with preparation and filling of prescriptions, inventory management, and maintaining compliance with pharmacy regulations. Responsibilities include data entry into the pharmacy information management system, stocking and removing outdated items, communicating with customers, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment under supervision of a registered pharmacist. Required: Texas State Pharmacy Technician license; preferred NATIONAL certification (PTCB) and IV certification; inpatient hospital pharmacy experience and Pyxis experience are desirable. Strong teamwork, communication, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a regulated healthcare environment are essential. Hours are scheduled as needed during facility hours (Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:30pm), with an anticipated part-time on-call/PRN engagement and hourly range of $18.90-$24.30.
Required Qualifications
