Job Summary
Provide occupational therapy services including screening, evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, re-assessment, and discharge planning. Document patient care activities, progress notes, and charges accurately while consulting with healthcare professionals to modify plans of care as needed. Manage an accurate schedule, meet productivity expectations, and demonstrate flexibility to work across various settings based on department needs and patient volume. Participate in multi-disciplinary quality improvement teams, community outreach, and marketing activities. Serve as a clinical instructor to assign students and assist with orientation and mentoring of new staff.
Required Qualifications
- College degree in Occupational Therapy
- Occupational Therapist licensure in Washington, D.C. at time of hire
- CPR certification within 90 days of hire
