Job Summary
Conduct occupational therapy services including screening, evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, re-assessment, and discharge planning. Document results, explain findings to patients and families, and incorporate them into goal setting. Implement treatment protocols based on evaluation findings and consult with healthcare professionals as needed. Manage accurate schedules, meet productivity expectations, and provide timely, empathetic patient access to care. Participate in multi-disciplinary quality teams, committees, and community outreach efforts while mentoring new staff and students.
Required Qualifications
- College degree in Occupational Therapy
- Occupational Therapist licensure in Washington, D.C. at time of hire
- CPR certification within 90 days of hire
