Job Summary
Perform catheter access and care (peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, PICC/central lines), vitals/assessments, and medication administration including Abx, TPN, and IVIG. Provide patient education on self-administration of medication and make visit notes through electronic charting. Submit notes promptly and communicate with scheduling personnel. Expect to do 2 visits per week. Requires current RN license, minimum 1-year infusion therapy experience, reliable transportation, and valid driver's license. Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license
- Competent in the duties described above
- Minimum 1-year experience in infusion therapy
- Minimum 1-year experience in catheter maintenance and care
- Reliable transportation
- Access to a printer/scanner/fax machine
- Must be able to communicate promptly with our scheduling personnel
- Licensed driver
- Valid automobile insurance
