Job Summary
Perform catheter access and care, including peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, and PICC lines; administer medications such as antibiotics, TPN, and IVIG; and conduct vital signs assessments and blood draws. Provide patient education on self-administration and document visits through electronic charting. Expect two visits per week with reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license
- Competent in the duties described above
- Minimum 1-year experience in infusion therapy
- Minimum 1-year experience in catheter maintenance and care
- Reliable transportation
- Access to a printer/scanner/fax machine
- Must be able to communicate promptly with our scheduling personnel
- Licensed driver
- Valid automobile insurance
