Job Summary
PRN Home Infusion RN position in Thorntown, IN providing in-home infusion therapy. Responsibilities include catheter access and care (peripheral IVs, port-a-Caths, PICC/central lines), administering medications (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty meds), vital signs/assessments, patient education on self-administration, and timely documentation via electronic charting. Requires current RN license and at least 1 year of infusion/catheter maintenance experience, reliable transportation, and the ability to make ~2 visits per week. Mileage reimbursement and benefits available.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license
- Competent in infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance and care
- Minimum 1-year experience in infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance and care
- Reliable transportation, access to a printer/scanner/fax machine
- Must be able to communicate promptly with scheduling personnel
- Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
- Expect to do 2 visits per week
