Job Summary
Perform catheter access and care, including peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, and PICC lines, while administering specialty medications like antibiotics, TPN, and IVIG. Conduct vital signs assessments and provide patient education on self-administration. Complete visit notes through electronic charting and submit promptly. Expect to complete two visits per week while maintaining reliable transportation and valid driver's license. Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license
- Competent in the duties described above
- Minimum 1-year experience in infusion therapy
- Minimum 1-year experience in catheter maintenance and care
- Reliable transportation
- Access to a printer/scanner/fax machine
- Must be able to communicate promptly with our scheduling personnel
- Licensed driver
- Valid automobile insurance
