Job Summary
PRN ICU RN role in Brooklyn, NY. Responsibilities include evaluating patients in the ICU, ordering diagnostic tests, administering IV fluids and medications, responding to life-threatening situations per nursing standards and protocols, and ensuring proper function of ventilators, monitors, and related equipment. Night shift available for ICU patients in a hospital/healthcare facility.
Required Qualifications
- Intensive Care Unit RNs (ICU RNs) evaluate and order diagnostic tests and administer intravenous fluids and medications
- Respond to life-threatening situations using nursing standards and protocols for treatment
- Ensure ventilators, monitors, and other types of medical equipment function properly
- Shift: Nights
- Active RN license (nursing license) and ICU experience preferred
