Job Summary
Conduct efficient and timely cleaning of patient rooms, staff offices, and community rooms according to a daily schedule. Perform frequent and strenuous physical activity including heavy lifting, sustained effort, and extensive carrying or pushing. Handle tasks involving exposure to blood, body fluids, and tissue while walking long distances and navigating stairs. Work Monday through Friday with flexible hours between 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM. Prior hospital or healthcare experience is required, along with a high school diploma and 12+ months of relevant housekeeping experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be comfortable walking long distances, up and down stairs, etc.
- Frequent / strenuous physical activity (e.g. heavy lifting, sustained physical effort, extensive carrying, pushing / pulling, etc.)
- Tasks may involve exposure to blood, body fluids, and tissue
- Must be 21 years old
- High School Diploma/ GED
- 12+ months of experience as a housekeeper in a hospital or healthcare setting
Desired Qualifications
- Prior hospital/healthcare experience needed
- Experience in a substance abuse or mental health setting
