Job Summary
PRN Hospital Pharmacist role providing pharmaceutical care in an acute care hospital setting: oversight, monitoring, preparation, dispensing, and documentation of medications; sterile IV preparation; Pyxis loading; controlled substances management; TPN and parenteral nutrition dosing; antibiotic/anticoagulant/renal dosing; interpretation of medical orders; clinical consultation and cost-effective therapy recommendations; involvement in quality improvement, education, and training; on-call availability during after-hours, weekends, and holidays; requires Arizona Pharmacist license and PharmD/BS degree; on-call rotation with flexible shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required
- Licensed, good standing pharmacist in the state of Arizona required
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- Ability to work on call or be in an on call rotation
