Job Summary
Provide hospice nursing care in the Green Bay/Oshkosh service area as a part-time PRN RN. Build therapeutic nurse-patient relationships, assess and address physical and psychosocial comfort, and support patient/family participation in care. Apply nursing standards and evidence-based practice to ensure safe, high-quality, cost-effective care; educate patients and families; implement the nursing process from assessment to evaluation; collaborate with the care team to meet regulatory requirements and promote learning among peers. Must be able to work rotating shifts, including weekdays, weekends, holidays, and be available for on-call as needed.
Required Qualifications
- RN licensed and in good standing
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds; patient handling equipment as needed
- Weekend and holiday availability
- Valid driver’s license
- Computer and documentation skills
- Experience in hospice or medical nursing preferred
