Job Summary
Assess spiritual needs with sensitivity for patients and families in homes, hospitals, or care facilities. Offer prayer, counseling, and presence while honoring diverse faith traditions and preferences. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to shape holistic care plans that reflect the whole person. Document assessments and interventions accurately in clinical records per regulatory standards. Coordinate with local clergy and faith groups to extend spiritual support beyond the team. Provide grief and anticipatory loss support to help loved ones process emotions and find meaning. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hospice spiritual care through continuing education and quality improvement efforts. Requires a Master of Divinity, hospice experience, and a valid Texas driver's license.

Desired Qualifications
- Master of Divinity (M.Div.)
- Endorsement or ordination by a recognized faith community
- Experience providing spiritual care in hospice, healthcare, or ministry settings (1+ year)
