Job Summary
Hospice Aide responsibilities include observing patients, documenting observations and care performed; providing personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.), preparing nutritious meals and assisting with feeding; taking vitals (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure); assisting with ambulation and range-of-motion exercises per the plan of care; reporting significant changes to the RN; in-home hospice care for patients, with full-time benefits and opportunities for career advancement within CommuniCare Family of Companies.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid STNA license in the state of Ohio
- 18 years of age or older
- Active CPR certification
- Meets training requirements in accordance with state and federal laws
