Job Summary
Infusion Nurse I provides direct patient care in the home or alternate infusion site under close supervision. Responsibilities include initiating and modifying basic nursing plan of care, administering medications, educating patients and families, coordinating discharge planning, real-time documentation for billing timelines, compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies, and traveling to patient homes. Requires active RN license, CPR, and ability to travel. Preferred BSN with 1 year home health or infusion experience; strong communication and teamwork skills; willingness to perform on-call duties as assigned. Travel is 100% for business purposes; location specified as Appleton, WI. Salary range provided reflects hourly pay converted to annualized USD; benefits include retirement plan and company programs.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 0-2 years of infusion nursing experience
- Current CPR certification (in-person class)
- Required licensure to operate a motor vehicle with access to a vehicle for business travel
- Basic knowledge of computer operating systems and software applications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with up to 75 pounds occasional lifting
