Job Summary
Infusion Nurse I role involves providing basic direct patient care in the home or alternate infusion site under close supervision. Responsibilities include initiating, developing, and implementing nursing plans of care; performing treatments and administering medications; educating patients and families; adjusting plans based on physician orders; coordinating discharge planning and documenting care in real time; ensuring compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies; and supporting the clinical team through communication and on-call duties. Requires active RN license, CPR certification, and the ability to travel for home-based care. Travel to patient homes is expected; must have access to a vehicle. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and potential exposure to blood and body fluids. Preferred BSN and 1 year of RN experience in home health or acute care. Salary range provided reflects hourly pay converted to annualized values; range is $72,696 to $121,160 per year.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to travel 100% of the time for business purposes
- Basic knowledge of computer operating systems and software applications
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle for business travel with proof of liability insurance
