Job Summary
Infusion Nurse I provides basic direct patient care in the home or alternate infusion site under physician plans, initiates and adjusts treatment per orders, educates patients/families, coordinates with the Clinical team, completes real-time documentation for billing, and participates in discharge planning and on-call duties. Requires active RN license, 0-2 years infusion experience, CPR certification, and ability to travel 100% for business purposes; travel and documentation systems are used to ensure safe, compliant infusion care and continuity of care.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 0-2 years of infusion nursing experience
- Current CPR certification
- Required licensure to operate a motor vehicle in the state of practice with access to a vehicle for business travel with proof of liability insurance
- Basic knowledge of computer operating systems and software applications with the ability to set professional growth goals
