Job Summary
Evaluate patient abilities and develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team. Deliver evidence-based interventions that restore movement, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life. Monitor progress, refine therapy plans, and ensure accurate, timely documentation of outcomes. Educate patients and families on exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and safe practices that promote independence. Collaborate across disciplines to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care and smooth transitions throughout recovery. Lead by example, mentoring therapy assistants or students while upholding HCA Healthcare's values of excellence, compassion, and integrity. This PRN role covers North Austin with varying hours including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Completion of the National Certification Examination for Registered Physical Therapist
- License to practice physical therapy within the state
- Ability to work varying hours, including weekends and holidays
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order
