The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant provides services under the direction of the Occupational Therapist according to the physician's plan of care. Responsibilities include evaluating patients' functional status, teaching patients new skills, maintaining clinical records, and following treatment programs as established by the Registered Occupational Therapist. The position requires effective communication with care personnel and participation in coordination efforts for patient plans.
