Job Summary
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant provides services under the direction of the Occupational Therapist according to the physician's plan of care. Responsibilities include evaluating patients' functional status, teaching patients new skills, maintaining clinical records, and following treatment programs as established by the Registered Occupational Therapist. The position requires effective communication with care personnel and participation in coordination efforts for patient plans. Candidates should possess relevant licenses and certifications, have at least one year of home health experience, and be flexible with work schedules.
Required Qualifications
- OTA License
- Driver's License/Auto Insurance
- CPR Certification
- Minimum 1-year previous home health experience
- Previous experience using Home Care Home Base
