Job Summary
PRN Float Pool RN position at correctional facilities requiring active RN license in the state of service and BLS; responsibilities include timely nursing assessments and care delivery, medication administration, triaging, data collection for CQI, documentation, patient education, infection control, collaboration with practitioners and multiple medical services, maintaining confidentiality, and potential backup duties for site management and staff training. Prefer knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutic diets, and behavioral health care within correctional settings.
Required Qualifications
- Active nursing license in the state of service
- BLS certification
- Excellent documentation skills
- Knowledge of RN scope of practice
- HIPAA practices
