Job Summary
Apply psychotherapeutic techniques to treat emotional and behavioral health disorders through individual, group, or family sessions. Conduct psychosocial assessments, develop discharge plans, and coordinate additional services as needed. Maintain documentation of therapy services and manage assigned caseloads while participating in treatment team meetings. Provide case management and after-care planning, and may assist in educating staff on behavior management or crisis intervention. Coordinate clinical and educational activities with patients and families. Work in an inpatient or outpatient setting with a commitment to patient safety and ethical care.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in counseling, social work, or related field
- Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern or Registered Clinical Social Work Intern
- Fully Licensed Therapists
- Experience with trauma‐informed care, addiction treatment, or residential settings
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively
- Commitment to ethical, compassionate, client‐centered care
- State or national licensure for professional therapy providers
- CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification
- First aid
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or other recognized therapeutic field
- Two or more years' experience as a therapist
- One or more years' experience with the specific population of the facility
- Level 2 Background Screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
Desired Qualifications
- Pay for fully licensed clinicians starts at $75k
- Experience with trauma‐informed care, addiction treatment, or residential settings preferred
