Job Summary
Provide high-quality patient care as an EMT, respond to 911 calls and medical transport requests, safely operate ambulances, assess and stabilize patients per EMT protocols and state EMS guidelines, document all patient care activities in electronic reporting systems, assist paramedics and other EMS personnel, maintain medical equipment and vehicle cleanliness, and communicate effectively with dispatch, hospital staff, and patients.
Required Qualifications
- Current EMT certification (state or national registry)
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- CPR certification (AHA or equivalent)
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 100 lbs
- Ability to operate ambulances and follow EMT protocols
